The company
Our
company - Contract Bulgaria - was created
in 1991. Our factory, in 1996, close to Stara
Zagora, the sixth largest town in Bulgaria. We
started with processing small quantities of wild mushrooms and slowly included
other products such as roasted red peppers in
jars,
cucumbers and since recently, ready-to-eat foods. All products are gathered,
treated, cooked and canned manually respecting the
environment and the quality standards. In
2001, the company implemented quality control monitoring system
and was certified with ISO 9001:2000.
The tradition
For more than ten years our factory has concentrated its efforts on bringing the old “grand-ma” recipes back to life. Our team constantly explores new ideas of treating the mushrooms and the vegetables in order to find a healthier way of preserving them and enjoying their taste. Some of our products were inspired from recipes dating back to the end of 19th century. We believe in the natural preserving of the product and restrict the use of chemical stabilizers.
